Moving Forward, Leaning In: Acceleration over Remediation

Learning loss has emerged as a concern for mathematics educators and researchers as a result of the loss of instructional opportunities around the world. Thus, this year’s conference theme Moving Forward, Leaning in: Acceleration over Remediation serves as a call to action. As a community, we must seize this opportunity to move mathematics education forward. The purpose of the conference is to share current research in mathematics education. The conference planning committee encourages proposals of completed research studies as well as works-in-progress. This is an excellent conference for faculty and advanced graduate students to report finished findings, share their evolving research and receive constructive comments on preliminary framings/findings.

This year's conference will be held at the Hilton DFW Lakes Executive Conference Center. Information regarding special conference hotel rates, local activities and transportation are provided on the RCML web site: Hotel Reservations & Local Information

The 2022 Conference Leadership Team is excited to announce that our featured Founders Lecture will be given by Dr. Trena Wilkerson, NCTM President. The conference is tentatively set to open on Thursday, March 3, at 4:00 pm Central Time, and conclude on Saturday, March 5, at 12:00 pm Central Time. A tentative program overview has been set, but more details regarding the program and sessions are forthcoming.
